What PCOS wish to tell you
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects about 1 in 5 women. It's one of the most common hormonal disorders and the primary cause of infertility in women. In this case, there's an excess of androgen hormones and the menstrual cycles are very irregular and sometimes without ovulation.
Considering that your body’s talking to you 24/7, PCOS is showing you that the emotional conversation that you're having with your mind & body needs to change - it's like your body speaking to you and letting you know that you need to start to take better care of yourself (your thoughts, beliefs & emotions).
What's behind the PCOS, then?
The ovaries symbolise femininity, but also creativity, as they allow fertilisation and procreation. The difficulties I have with my genitals can indicate fear, guilt, shame, distrust, regret or some kind of anger about my sexuality.
There's some confusion and inner conflict and a cyst forms when I feel a sense of regret/guilt/shame about a project or a desire that I was unable to fulfill. I hang on to certain past experiences and this pain follows me everywhere - which tends to make me withdraw inward.
You can ask yourself the following questions:
Am I running away from a conflict instead of facing it - avoiding facing certain people or situations?
Do I refuse to forgive/forgive and free myself?
If this resonates with you, repeat these words every day, to help you through this process:
"I forgive myself, I love myself and I accept myself as I am.
I look to the future, I am at peace and I move forward with confidence. I release all those emotions."
