What Fibroids wish to tell you
The most common symptoms of Fibroids include abnormally long and heavy periods (menorrhagia) and/or bleeding between periods (metrorrhagia). Pain (sometimes sudden), a feeling of pressure or heaviness in the lower abdomen are also characteristic of fibroids.
Your body’s talking to you 24/7, so any discomfort, tension usually means that the emotional conversation that you're having with your mind & body isn't the best one - it's like your body speaking to you and letting you know that some changes are needed in your life.
What's behind the Fibroids, then?
Your fertility being a mirror of your overall health, even if the "exact cause" of fibroids is said to be unknown, when fibroids appear in the uterus, the seat of motherhood, femininity and sexuality - you can ask yourself the following questions:
In my home, in my family, have I felt hurt by my partner?
Do I have long-suppressed feelings of guilt, shame or self-confusion?
Did I experience an emotional shock related to my first sexual experiences or to a pregnancy termination that profoundly affected me?
Am I longing for renewal, for change in my life, but I refuse to let my creative side and my taste for adventure manifest to the world?
Uterine fibroids often appear around the age of 40, when I start to have a psychological awareness in relation to my biological clock. They develop as if to fill an inner void that I want to fill - in the escape from my needs and desires.
✷ It's essential for you to communicate and express what you feel, what you have never revealed and which in some way has taken a solid form within you, to let go and forgive yourself, to accept that you cannot change what belongs to the past, but that you can absolutely influence the present moment!
